Leather Material

Thoughtfully Selected, Beyond Quality.
VH insists on using top-grade, top-grain leather, preserving its natural softness and delicate texture. Every inch of leather withstands the test of time and use.By layering different leathers, the design enhances the bag's versatility and structural definition—restoring its intended texture and form.

Rigorous Quality Standards
Only the Finest Parts of the Hide Are Used

VH carefully selects calf leather from the back, known for its even grain and firm surface—minimal scars, ideal size, and resistance to creasing. The leather is soft yet supportive. Each hide undergoes strict scrutiny, with a rejection rate of up to 55%—to retain only the finest parts, ensuring the quality our bags deserve.

Top-Tier, Top-Grain Leather
A Silent Promise of Texture

All top-grain leather used is full-grain. It is supple yet firm, thick and soft to the touch, with clearly visible, breathable pores—undeniable quality at first sight.

The Diversity of Leather

Vegetable-Tanned Calfskin/Lambskin
Sourced from Tuscan leather blanks, these undergo over 30 days of traditional vegetable tanning and natural drying to retain the leather's breathability. The result is an authentic texture and feel, every inch carrying the warmth of time.

Suede Lambskin
Originating from A+ grade New Zealand top-grain suede lambskin, from a premier global source for high-end sheep leather. It offers rich nap, an incredibly soft and smooth hand-feel, while being lightweight, stable, durable, and supple.

Premium Materials & Artisan Craftsmanship
Making Quality Visible

Utilizing high-end Dürkopp sewing machines and Amann's Saba thread, we stitch at a precise seven stitches per inch. The seams are clean and firm, balancing aesthetics and durability,Ensuring seams remain resistant to fraying over long-term use.

Key stress points, such as loops and bag openings, are hand-locked by artisans with over a decade of experience. Each lock-stitch is reinforced by time and mastery, built to last.

We select luxury-grade Italian Fenice edge paint. Master craftsmen apply it through a process of "sanding-painting-drying," repeated 6-8 times by hand, followed by a final water-oil sealant. This ensures a smooth, thin, delicate, eco-friendly, and durable edge finish.
